What does WEB Certified* mean?

Web Solutions has implemented the guidelines of Ontarians with Disabilities Act, and developed our own Certification standard in this regard.  In other words, we have taken accessibility standards to a higher level, by providing OUR assurance by way of WEB CERTIFIED* icons to our clients, once their websites pass all testing. 

Our certification includes both W3C Validation, and W3C CSS Validation testing (all sites must be 100% error free), as well as Functional Accessibility Evaluator 1.1, which conforms to WCAG 2.0 Level AA (must have 0% fail rate, although may contain warnings), other than success criteria 1.2.4 Captions (Live) and, success criteria 1.2.5 Audio Descriptions (pre-recorded) - video and audio will not be effected until 2020.

*NOTE:  Websites displaying our icon, passed all testing AT THE TIME OF CERTIFICATION.  If a website has been rebuilt, revised, altered or code has changed in any way since the time of certification, Web Solutions does not guarantee that Certification is still valid.  Web Solutions keeps testing certification records including dates for all of our clients.  Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
